Counting down 48 hours: HOLED UP draws filmmakers worldwide...and Chase gets some KOMU coverage!

Congrats (and THANKS) to Professor Chase Thompson, who worked with his film students (and alumnae) to create the Holed Up 48 Hour Film Competition -- designed to connect and inspire filmmakers at home. Entirely at home. As in, the camera couldn't leave the house.

The competition started at 7 p.m. on Friday (see the Facebook Live recording, below), and concludes at 7 tonight. It drew almost 80 filmmakers from as far away as Vancouver Island; Marce, France; and London, and winners will be announced on May 1.

In the meantime, Chase and the competition got some earned media here in Columbia -- and I don't know if I've ever seen him lookin' so Hollywood....
